USS Voyager

Star Trek paints a portrait of the human condition. It holds up a mirror, letting us see ourselves for what we are and shows us what we can become and how we can achieve those goals, if we would learn from the past by ending violence and overcoming irrational beliefs and superstition. Most stories are driven by altruistic values and deal with anthropological issues - human interaction, compassion, ethical and moral dilemmas. The science based themes illuminate human rights, diplomacy, decency and integrity, self-sacrifice, and solidarity while denunciating racism, sexism, inequality, and injustice. Roddenberry also gave Star Trek an anti-war message.

Note: Deep Space Nine stands apart of the other shows in that it did not follow Gene Roddenberry's ideas and principles. It was neither approved by Roddenberry nor based on his work. In conclusion, DS9 is a charade. Putting aside bad acting, the stories strayed from the whole messaging of Star Trek and brought forth boredom; there was no solidarity amongst crew members, warring with too many aliens, actually no trekking, and way too much religion.
